Chandigarh, May 20
Monica Sachdeva had been awarded the University Gold Medal for securing first position in the master in social work examination of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The examination was held in June 2015.
Sachdeva, who has been pursuing her masters in social work through open distance learning mode from the IGNOU secured AIR 1 in the session 2013-15 and was awarded during the 30th convocation of the IGNOU.
Sachdeva said, “I had enrolled for the MSW in 2013, which was a paradigm shift. ”—TNS
