Following the orders of the government, Amanjit Singh Bajwa, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) was suspended for his involvement in the CM camp office raid case today.

Earlier, Inspector Harwinder Singh and Inspector Arvinder Singh were placed under suspension.

Police Commissioner SS Srivastava confirmed the development. "Yes, we got the orders from the government," he said.

The role of the DCP was under the scanner, as it was being alleged that two Inspector-rank officials had raided the CM camp office on the directions of Bajwa. However, the incident had infuriated Congress leaders who demanded immediate suspension of the accused cops, including a DCP.
