Tribune reporter Ishrat S Banwait talks to a few of them to know their horrendous experiences on city roads.
Murmurs turn into chorus
- Seeking women’s security, the Chandigarh and Haryana Congress organised a ‘Mashaal Juloos’ in Sector 17 on Thursday.
- Pawan Kumar Bansal, former Union Minister, Ashok Tanwar, president, Haryana Congress, and Pardeep Chhabra, president, Chandigarh Congress, participated in the protest. Bansal said the stalking incident was unfortunate.
- He said it was a matter of grave concern for city residents. Ashok Tanwar demanded Subhash Barala’s resignation. Chhabra said an inquiry should be marked into the incident. Photo: Pradeep Tewari
