Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Dhanas, beat Government Model High School, Sector 41, 25-15 to book a place in the girls’ U-14 inter-school kabaddi final. 

In another semifinal, Government Model High School, Sector 12, humbled Government Model High School, Sector 7, 69-55. 

In the U-14 boys’ semifinals, Government Model High School (II), Dhanas, overcame Government Model High School, Sector 12, 50-41.

Yesterday, Dhanas boys had registered a narrow 72-71 win over Sri Guru Gobind Singh School, Sector 35.

Government Model High School, Sector 12, had defeated boys from Government Model High School, Karsan, 47-38, while DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, got the better of Government Model High School, Sector 41, 15-10. 

Sacred Heart shuttlers win 

Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, blanked St. Stephen’s School, Sector 44, 2-0 in the girls’ U-14 inter-school badminton championship on Wednesday. 

Shivalik Public School, Sector 44, registered a 2-0 win over Government Model High School, Sector 26, while St. Kabir School, Sector 26, blanked St. Anne’s School, Sector 32. 

In girls’ U-17 category, AKSIPS, Sector 41, beat St. Soldier School, Sector 28, 2-0. 

Government Model High School, Sector 26, logged a 2-1 win over Tribune Model School, Sector 29, while Sacred Heart School drubbed Tender Heart School, Sector 33, 2-0. KB DAV School, Sector 7, got the better of Ryan International School, Sector 49.

St. John’s paddlers triumph

St. John’s School, Sector 26, overcame Gurukul Global School, Mani Majra, to win the boys U-14 inter-school table tennis championship. 

In the final, played at the Sector 23 TT Hall, St. John’s boys beat their opponents 3-2.  

Bhawan Vidyalya, Sector 27, finished third after they registered a 3-2 win over Manav Mangal School, Sector 21.

Earlier, en route to the final, St. John’s beat both DAV School, Sector 8, and Sri Aurobindo School, Sector 27, 3-1.   

Gurukul Global School blanked Tender Heart School, Sector 33, before dismissing Delhi Public School, Sector 40, 3-0.
