CHANDIGARH: The first SAI Sports Chandigarh Open Swimming Championship will be held at the Sector 23 all-weather swimming pool on July 7-8.

<p>Tribune News Service</p> <p>Chandigarh, June 17</p> <p>The first SAI Sports Chandigarh Open Swimming Championship will be held at the Sector 23 all-weather swimming pool on July 7-8.&nbsp;</p> <p>It will be conducted in the age groups, including U-8 years (born after 2010), U-10 years (born during 2008-09), U-12 years (born during 2006-07), &nbsp;U-14 years (born during 2004-05), U-17 years (born during 2001-03) and open category (born during 1993-2000), in both the boys and girls categories.&nbsp;</p> <p>The swimmers registered in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh can participate in the championship. A swimmer can participate in only three events in each age group. Interested swimmers can send in their entries before July 5, along with an entry fee of Rs 200 at the tournament venue. The organisers will not give any TA/DA to any of the participant. The events will be supervised by theprofessionals.</p>
