Harjinder elected CAA president

CHANDIGARH:Harjinder Singh Gill was on Saturday unanimously elected as the president of the Chandigarh Athletics Association (CAA).



Chandigarh, April 21

Harjinder Singh Gill was on Saturday unanimously elected as the president of the Chandigarh Athletics Association (CAA). 

Parminder Singh Ahluwalia will be the senior vice-president, while Rakesh Malik will hold the post of treasurer. Neeru Malik and GP Paul have been voted as joint secretaries.  

The other office bearers include vice-presidents BC Josan, Nisha Bhargva, Agnees Dhillon, DS Bedi, Vibha Ray, Manmeet Gill, Gurvinder Sidhu and Jaspinder Singh (all vice-presidents), and honourary secretary Iqbal Singh.  

The elections were held during the annual general meeting of the sports body. — TNS
