Harmehtab applies for bail

CHANDIGARH: Harmehtab Singh Rarewala, one of the accused in the murder of Akansh Sen, nephew of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, has sought bail.

Harmehtab Singh Rarewala, one of the accused in the murder of Akansh Sen, nephew of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, has sought bail.

The bail application includes a medical report of a team of doctors from the PGI, which says that the death was caused due to a severe head injury. The prosecution has been issued a notice and will file its reply on October 23.

The application also includes the CFSL report which says that all those involved in the incident were highly intoxicated, including the victim. Sen was run over by a BMW car allegedly by Harmehtab and Balraj Randhawa in February. While Harmehtab was arrested, Randhawa is still absconding.
