Haryana skaters shine

CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh: Haryana skaters claimed three titles on the concluding day of the Federation Cup, which was organised by the Roller Skating Federation of India, here on Friday. In the men’s quads event, Haryana beat hosts Chandigarh in the final, while in the women’s title clash, the side got the better of Telangana.

Chandigarh: Haryana skaters claimed three titles on the concluding day of the Federation Cup, which was organised by the Roller Skating Federation of India, here on Friday. In the men’s quads event, Haryana beat hosts Chandigarh in the final, while in the women’s title clash, the side got the better of Telangana. Haryana also won the men’s inline title. Meanwhile, in the women’s inline competition, the hosts beat Karnataka to finish on top. — TNS

Golf camp from June 20

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Golf Club will conduct a 10-day junior coaching camp from June 20. Children in the age-group of 7 to 17 years can participate in the camp, which will be held by coach Ajay Gujral. During the camp, the participants will get lessons in basic swing technique, short game instruction and other core values of the sport. The interested players can register for the camp before June 19. — TNS
