Mohammad Hassan overwhelmed Mohammad Talib to win the 18th Raj Kumar Babuta Memorial Prize Money Carrom Ranking Tournament here on Tuesday.
Playing at St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45, Hassan registered a 14-13 17-18 25-23 win over Talib in the final. Hassan also completed a white slam during his win.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Talib had defeated Gagandeep Singh 14-25 25-19 23-9, while Hassan drubbed Paras Arora 25-0 23-13.
In the women’s final, Tuba Sehar defeated Farheen 24-5 15-14.
Farheen had earlier booked her place in the final with a 25-2 25-7 19-13 25-4 win over Maryam Khan. Sehar beat Nidhi Gupta 19-13 25-4.
