Chandigarh, June 22

The installation of three high-mast lights in Sector 52 started on Thursday.

Mayor Asha Kumari Jaswal said Rs 14 lakh was being spent on the lights.

She, along with local councillor Chanderwati Shukla, also visited the streets in the area and assured residents of providing better amenities.

Later, during her visit to a green belt in Sector 19, she directed workers to repair the broken footpath and maintain cleanliness.
