IIT-Ropar faculty to visit foreign universities

ROPAR:At least 17 faculty members of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Ropar) will visit top universities in the world during ‘summer visitation programme’ to explore international collaborative research opportunities.

At least 17 faculty members of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Ropar) will visit top universities in the world during ‘summer visitation programme’ to explore international collaborative research opportunities. 

The programme was started last year. It aims at sharing of academic resources with numerous universities, industries and R&D organisations. Ten selected faculty from all departments were sent to the top-notch universities and laboratories across the world.

This summer, 17 faculty members will spend 5 to 10 weeks in various educational institutes in Sweden, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Taiwan.
