Thieves truck at a house in Sector 18 on the night intervening October 10 and 11. The thieve decamped with gold jewellery, Rs 16,000 in cash and 400 US dollars.
According to the police, complainant Usha Jain reported that she was sleeping when the thieves stole her purse and a bag. The next morning, she found her purse and bag lying under a tree outside her residence.
As per the complainant, a gold kara, two pairs of diamond ear rings, gold ring, five silver coins, an silver idol, pearl pendent, mobile phone, important documents, Rs 16,000 in cash and 400 American dollars were stolen.
