Sri Guru Nanak Khalsa School, Sector 30-B, beat Government High School, Sector 35, 21-10 in the boys U-14 final of the inter-school handball tournament.
The Khalsa boys were comfortably leading 13-3 at the half time. For winners, Priyanshu topscored with seven points. Bunty, Munish scored five points each and Abhishek scored four points. For Sector 35 boys, Hasan and Suraj scored four points each while Amit scored two points.
NPS-18 cagers win
In the boys U-14 basketball tournament, NPS-18 beat St. John's School, Sector 26, 51-41. Samar topscored for the winning side with 26 points. Ari N scored 18 points for St John's boys. St Joseph School, Sector 44, beat Gurukul Global, Mani Majra, 48-38 in the third place match. Mannat topscored for the winning side with 23 points. For the losing team, Akshat scored 15 points.
In the girls U-14 category, Strawberry Fields School, Sector 26, beat St. Anne's, Sector 32, 35-30. Zaara of Strawberry Fields School was the topscorer for her side with 10 points. Sargun scored 10 points for St Anne's girls. In the third place match, Vivek High School, Sector 38, beat Saupin's School, Sector 32, 20-13. Mannat of Vivek High scored 12 points while Jasleen of Saupin's School scored six points.
Carmel girls shine in chess
In the girls U-19 chess, Carmel Convent School, Sector-9, beat Ryan International School, Sector 49, 3-1. DPS, Sector 40, girls finished third followed by Moti Ram Arya School, Sector 27.
Ryan International School, Sector 49, won the boys U-19 category title by beating Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-33. Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-35, finished third followed by Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27.

half-century
In the boys U-17 cricket, Mount Carmel, School, Sector 47, beat Chitkara International School by 83 runs. Batting first, Carmel boys scored 102/2 in 10 overs. Harshpreet scored a half-century in 32 balls. In reply, Chitkara boys scored 19/7 in seven overs.
Gurukul Global School beat Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 32, by eight wickets. Batting first, Gurukul boys scored 54 all out in 12 overs. In reply, Sector 32 boys scored 55/2 in seven overs.
Stepping Stones Senior Secondary School, Sector 37 beat St Soldier School, Sector 28, by six runs. Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, beat Dev Samaj School, Sector-21, by 10 wickets.
Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, beat Ajit Karam Singh International Public School, Sector 41, by six wickets. Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, beat Government Model High School, Sector 38, by six wickets.
St Joseph’s boys win
In football, St Joseph's School, Sector 44, beat St Soldier School, Sector 28, 5-3. Government High School, Sector 36, beat Chitkara International School, Sector 25, 2-1. Government Model High School, Sector 26, beat St Joseph's School, Sector 44, 2-1.
