Kher lays stone of community centre in Sec 52

Chandigarh, May 19

City MP Kirron Kher on Friday laid the foundation stone of a community centre at Kajheri village, Sector 52. B Purushartha, MC Commissioner, and Chanderwati Shukla, area councillor, were also present. Kher said it was a long-pending project and area resident required it the most. She added that quality facilities would be provided at all community centres in the city. She asked the Municipal Commissioner to explore the possibility of covering the N-choe, which runs through Sector 24 and other nearby areas. —TNS
