Man booked for killing wife

Patiala: A resident of Tohra village, Suraaz Mohammed, near here has been booked for murdering his own wife under the influence of liquor. However, the police are yet to arrest the accused.  The police have booked him for strangling his 28-year-old-wife Shaani Baigam following a minor dispute at their residence on Friday night. The police said the accused had gone out in the evening and when he returned home late in the night, he had a fight with his wife following which he killed her. — TNS
