The Indian Meteorological Department, Chandigarh, has predicted rain on Monday. In a statement released today, it has been warned that due to western disturbances heavy rain at isolated places is likely over Punjab and Haryana and Chandigarh, while snow is predicted at isolated places in J&K and Himachal Pradesh. Due to rain, day temperature is expected to come down.
After that, dry weather will continue till December 15 and there would be a dip in the night temperature.
Meanwhile, on Sunday night temperature rose to 10 degree Celsius, 3 degrees above normal, due to overcast conditions, while day temperature was recorded at 26.7 degree Celsius, 4 degrees above ‘normal’. — TNS
