Mystery shrouds youth''s death

Mystery shrouds the death of a 26-year-old youth whose body was found at his residence this afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Rajan Thakur, a resident of Palm Enclave, Zirakpur. Though the exact cause of the death is yet to be ascertained, the police suspect it to be a case of suicide. Investigating officer Baljinder Singh said the deceased was mentally unstable. He said the incident took place around 1.30 pm. His family took him to hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The police said the family did not want to file any complaint. It was learnt that Rajan was looking for a job and was under depression. — OC
