Park revamp

The pathetic state of a park in Sector 65, Mohali, was highlighted in the ‘Have Your Say’ column on February 5. Taking note of it, the Mayor and the civic body sanctioned the refurbishing works of the park which now are in full swings. Residents convey their gratitude to the civic authorities and The Tribune.

Night gone, lights still on

The wastage of electricity is prevalent in Sector 8, Panchkula, as on Monday morning, streetlights in the area were not turned off, showcasing the indifferent attitude of city’s Power Department. Can such irresponsible behaviour be ever justified?
