Reckless driving claims man’s life in Kalka

Kalka: A recklessly driven car claimed life of a middle-aged man on the Kalka-Chandigarh highway, near Surajpur, on Saturday. As per information, Prem Bahadur, a resident of Burajkotian village, was on his way to Pinjore from Chandimandir on his rickshaw around 12-30 pm when it was hit by a speeding car. He fell on the road and got serious multiple injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, where he succumbed to injuries during the treatment. The deceased is survived by his wife and four children. — OC
