CHANDIGARH:BL Sharma, Education Secretary, released the annual newsletter ‘SCERT Sandesh’ of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) here on Wednesday.



Chandigarh, June 13

BL Sharma, Education Secretary, released the annual newsletter ‘SCERT Sandesh’ of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) here on Wednesday. 

During a meeting, SCERT Director apprised the committee members of the activities conducted in 2017-18 and presented a ‘Plan of Action’.

The National Population Education Project (NPEP) is funded by the MHRD and implemented by the NCERT in India for quality improvement in government schools, under which various activities such as advocacy and training of teachers, role play, folk dance, model exhibition, poster making and nukkad natak, are being conducted for creating awareness among adolescents.
