Chandigarh, April 17

Dean Students Welfare (DSW) Prof Emanual Nahar has issued instructions to Executive Engineer for setting up an e-rickshaw stand on the south campus of the PU, located in Sector 25, here.

“Faculty members, staff and students studying in the south campus buildings are facing a lot of difficulties whenever they have to come to the Sector 14 campus for academic purposes,” said the letter by the DSW to the Executive Engineer.

It has asked for taking steps to earmark the space near BMS Department and Alumni House and provide infrastructure for e-rickshaw stands. “Being a science student, we know the difficulties students are facing. After receiving suggestions, we raised this issue in the first meeting of the students’ council,” said Joint Secretary, PUCSC, Karan Randhawa. — TNS
