Shaolin FC beat Strikers FC

Chandigarh, June 20

Shaolin FC defeated Strikers FC 3-2 to win the final of the boys’ U-11 category on the concluding day of the 6th Chandigarh Football League, organised by Baichung Bhutia Football Schools here. 

Rebel FC posted a 3-1 win over Young Guns to finish third in the championship. Prabhjot Bedi of Strikers was adjudged the best player, while Kabir Kalia was the top scorer with 22 goals.

Meanwhile, Champ Star FC won the final of the U-9 category after registering a 1-0 victory over Nine Juniors. Real FC blanked Crusher FC 2-0 to finish third in the event. Ekam was named as best player of the category. Galaxy United won the final of the U-13 category after defeating United FC 3-1, while Amigos XI beat Champs 4-0 to finish third. Jaiaditya was awarded for his performance with the best player title. 

Barca FC beat Red Devils 3-1 to win the U-15 category event while YPS finished third after a 1-0 win over Warriors FC. In the U-18 category, UFC won the title after a 3-1 victory over Blaster FC, while Al Habibi finished third after a 2-0 win over Pirates FC.
