Shivalik Public

Chandigarh: The 48th Founder’s Day, Baisakhi, and Dr BR Ambedkar’s Jayanti celebrations were held on the school premises. Students recited poems on Baisakhi. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students and staff.

RIMT World

Mani Majra: RIMT World School celebrated Baisakhi with great fervour. The kindergarten wing of the school was decorated with the theme depicting the harvest season. Children were explained about the importance of the festival by showcasing the Punjabi culture.

SMD School

Panchkula: To celebrate the Baisakhi, young boys and girls of SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector 2, Panchkula, came in colourful attire. Principal Deepika Luthra shared the importance of the festival. Director Naresh Gupta wished peace and prosperity for all.

Mount Litera

Panchkula: Mount Litera Zee School, Panchkula, celebrated Constitution Week. A special assembly was organised in the morning followed by speeches, discussions and a PPT on the contribution of Dr BR Ambedkar in the making of the Constitution.

New India

Panchkula: The new session of New India Senior Secondary School, Sector 15, Panchkula, started with a havan. Principal Sharda Gupta and the manager KK Gupta graced the occasion. All students were advised to study hard.

Mount Carmel

Zirakpur: An inter-house declamation competition was held at Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur. Students from all four houses shared their views on Baisakhi. Samar from Milton House and Kangna from Shakespeare House bagged the first and second prizes from the junior category respectively. TNS
