Students attend workshop on research publication

Mohali: Rayat Bahra University (RBU) conducted a workshop in collaboration with PGGC, Sector 46, Chandigarh, on ‘Writing research publication and proposal’ here today in which a large number of graduate and postgraduate students and faculty members participated.



Mohali: Rayat Bahra University (RBU) conducted a workshop in collaboration with PGGC, Sector 46, Chandigarh, on ‘Writing research publication and proposal’ here today in which a large number of graduate and postgraduate students and faculty members participated.

The workshop was conducted under the aegis of the Rashtriya Uchchtar Siksha Abhiyan (RUSA), National Higher Education Mission. It offered an opportunity to the students to explore emerging opportunities in the field of research and development and how this conceptual methodology could be used for career advancement. Dr SL Hari Kumar, expert from the RBU, said students should learn about advancement in scripting publications and they should be able to face challenges in solving unsolved problems. Writing a good research report required knowledge of research reporting, rules for writing and typing, format and style of research reporting and the body of report. — TNS
