Panchkula, June 12
A day after the manager of the State Bank of India jumped from the third floor of the SBI Building in Sector 5, the manager recorded his statement before Panchkula police and said he was suffering from epilepsy.
Sector 5 police station SHO Karamvir, said, Suresh Meena (the manager in the SBI Headquarters) recorded his statement to the police in which he revealed that he was suffering from epilepsy, which resulted in jumping from SBI building.
The SHO clarified that the police would not initiate any kind of action against the SBI manager, as he was already under depression. He further said manager was still undergoing treatment in hospital.
The official had landed on the roof of a vehicle that was parked on the premises and sustained serious injuries on his head and leg. Before jumping, the official had even damaged office material, including furniture and an LCD.—TNS
