Three held with narcotics
Chandigarh: Three persons were held by the Chandigarh Police under the NDPS Act. Happy, alias Champ, a resident of New Indira Colony, Mani Majra, was arrested with 3-kg Ganja. The accused was arrested from near the police beat box at New Indira Colony. A case has been registered at the IT Park police station.
In another case, the crime branch arrested Surinder Kumar, alias Chinda, a resident of New Indira Colony, with 2 kg of ganja. The third person, Vikas, a resident of Burail village, was arrested with 11 banned injections. He was arrested from near the government dispensary in Sector 34. A case has been registered. — TNS
