Traders meet SSP, want security tightened

CHANDIGARH: A delegation of the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, along with the owner of Gopal Sweets, the victim of a robbery incident, raised security concerns with SSP Nilambari Jagadale Vijay during a meeting.

A delegation of the Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, along with the owner of Gopal Sweets, the victim of a robbery incident, raised security concerns with SSP Nilambari Jagadale Vijay during a meeting.

They discussed the law and order situation, particularly the robbery incident with the owner of Gopal Sweets and the extortion call received by the owner of Kumar Brothers, Sector 11. Anil Vohra, president of the mandal, said the culprits behind these incidents should be arrested soon.

Charanjiv Singh, chairman of the mandal, said the recent incidents had created a feeling of insecurity among traders. They demanded that the security in markets be enhanced.
