Panchkula: The police recovered an unidentified body in the Barwala block in Panchkula district on Monday.



Panchkula: The police recovered an unidentified body in the Barwala block in Panchkula district on Monday. According to the police, the body is of a male (aged around 30 years old). The face was badly damaged with sharp-edged weapons. The locals spotted the body in the fields at Fatehpur Sangria village in the Barwala block and informed the police. The police have lodged an FIR and started investigations.

Labourer arrested for sexual harassment

Chandigarh: The police arrested a labourer (34) for allegedly harassing his neighbour at Ram Darbar. Accused Bunty had entered the house of the victim where she was sleeping. He misbehaved with the woman, following which she raised an alarm. The accused fled, but was later arrested. The police, on the complaint of the victim, mother of a child, registered a case under Section 345 (A) (sexual harassment), 354 (B) (force to woman with intent to disrobe) and 452 (trespass) of the IPC. — TNS
