Chandigarh, August 11
The Chandigarh Administration has asked the Haryana Government to investigate as to how the house allotted to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s political advisor Deepak Mangla was given to state BJP chief Subhash Barala.
Sources said eight big houses belonging to the Chandigarh Administration in Sector 7 had been allotted to the Haryana CM pool.
These houses are meant for ministers and senior functionaries of the state government.
An official said once the houses were given under the Chif Minister pool, it was the responsibility of the government concerned to check the eligibility of the persons to whom the houses were allotted.
The sources said Haryana BJP chief Subhash Barala had been allotted Flat No. 51 in Sector 3, which is meant for an MLA.
In any case, the houses meant for ministers cannot be allotted to an MLA or the party chief.
