UT officials reshuffled

Chandigarh, October 17 

With new officers joining, there was a reshuffle in the responsibilities of the IAS, PCS and HCS officers in the UT Administration.

Ajoy Kumar Sinha, IAS, Finance Secretary, will have charge of Secretary, Urban Planning, Secretary, Estate/Housing, and Secretary, Information Technology.

KK Jindal, IAS, Secretary Personnel, will have a charge of Secretary, UT Secretariat Establishment. 

BL Sharma, IAS, Secretary Education, will be Managing Director, Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation Ltd and Secretary Sports. 

Harish Nayar, IAS, Secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board, will be Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Housing Board, and Director, Local Audit Department. Arjun Sharma, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (East), will be Director, Information Technology. 

Saurabh Mishra, IAS, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, also Sub-Divisional Magistrate (South), will have the charge of Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Museum and Art Gallery Project Director Beant Singh Memorial and Secretary, Municipal Corporation.

Kuljit Paul Singh Mahi, PCS, Additional Secretary will be Home Additional Secretary, Industries. Anil Kumar Garg, PCS, will take care of the charge of Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation.

Virat, HCS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Central), has been made the Secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board.  Tejdeep Singh Saini, PCS, will be Director, Industries, and General Manager, District Industries Centre. In addition to above, Saini will also look after the charge of the posts of Director Sports, Director Animal Husbandry and Fisheries and Registering and Licensing Authority, during the leave period of Karnail Singh, PCS, till October 29.
