CHANDIGARH:Vasu Sharma of Sadhna Vocational Society claimed the topped the 25m run on the opening day of the Special Olympics, organised by the Chandigarh Chapter at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here today.

Chandigarh, February 16  

Vasu Sharma of Sadhna Vocational Society claimed the topped the 25m run on the opening day of the Special Olympics, organised by the Chandigarh Chapter at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here today.

Hardeek Pal from Asha School, Chandimandir, claimed the second position, while Diksha Thakur from SOREM, Sector 36, finished third in the open category.

In the girls’ category, Mannat Singh, Sanya Yadav and Saachi Sharma (all from SOREM) claimed first three positions, respectively.  

In the 25m walk, Bhavan Vidyalaya’s Harshita Sachdeva, Sameeksha Singla and Tanish Chauhan finished first, second and third respectively. —TNS
