Vigilance officials inspect MC records

A team of the Vigilance Department of the Punjab Local Government today inspected the records and functioning of the Municipal Council, Kharar, and collected requisite information. The team was headed by Sudip Singh Manak, Chief Vigilance Officer of the department.

The team remained here for around three hours and inspected the working of various departments of the council. As per information, the records of all  land owned by the  council was collected. Information regarding encroachments upon municipal land 

by various persons was also collected.

EO, Municipal Council, Sandeep Tiwari, confirmed that it was a routine checking.

He said all documents demanded by the team would be provided soon.

Sudip Singh Manak, when contacted on his mobile phone, said it was a routine checking. However, at present there was nothing to share with the media.
