Patiala: A workshop for science teachers was organised by Patiala Sahodaya Schools Complex at DAV, Bhupindra road. The workshop was attended by 62 delegates from different schools. The workshop commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by chief guest principal SR Prabhakar. While addressing the gathering, he said science is a practical subject that should be taught with lots of innovation. A teacher should be creative as well as innovative to enhance the skills of students.
Janmashtami celebrated
Police DAV Public School celebrated Janmashtami with fervour and enthusiasm. Various tableaus were performed to recreate the incidents from Lord Krishna’s life. Children of Nursery, LKG, UKG, Ist and IInd were dressed beautifully in the costumes of Radha and Krishna. Simar Sindhi, a student of Class VI-A, presented a speech on Janmashtami. Sweets were distributed among the children. Dances were also performed on the occasion. — TNS
