Youth falls off 6th floor, dies

A 20-year-old youth died after he fell off the sixth floor of a building here on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Marush, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

According to sources, the incident took place when the deceased was engaged for paint work of the building. It has been learnt that the deceased might have lost his balance and fell.

Initially, he was taken to the Civil Hospital, Dera Bassi. Thereafter, he was referred to the GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, the Dera Bassi police have informed family members of the deceased. — OC
