Patiala, June 16
A 25-year-old youth riding pillion on a bike died on the spot while his cousin driving the bike sustained serious injuries in a road accident near Banur on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Bikramjit Singh while his cousin Gurjeet Singh has been admitted at a hospital with serious head injuries.
Police said they have registered a case and are investigating the matter to ascertain the cause of the accident.
