Zirakpur gets 10 PCR vehicles

ZIRAKPUR: To strengthen patrolling in the town and keep vigil on anti-social elements, five PCR vans and five motorbikes were flagged off by SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal from the old bus stand, Zirakpur.

To strengthen patrolling in the town and keep vigil on anti-social elements, five PCR vans and five motorbikes were flagged off by SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal from the old bus stand, Zirakpur. These vehicles are equipped with modern equipment, along with first-aid-kits and stretchers.

Kuldeep Singh, SSP, said to step up the presence of the police in the town and nearby villages, the initiative has been launched. The SSP further said Zirakpur had been divided into 10 beats, where round-the-clock vigil will kept. Two policemen in a group will be stationed at sensitive points. — OC
