4-yr-old girl crushed under truck

NEW DELHI: A four-year-old girl was today crushed to death by a speeding truck in Narela, a police official said. The accident occurred when the girl had gone to relieve herself today morning, he said.

A four-year-old girl was today crushed to death by a speeding truck in Narela, a police official said.

The accident occurred when the girl had gone to relieve herself today morning, he said.

The driver of the speeding truck lost control due to potholes in the road, he said, adding that he was arrested after some labourers present on the spot caught him and handed over to the police.

Parents of the girl worked as construction workers and lived in a temporary camp nearby, the official said. – PTI
