5,000 bottles of illicit liquor seized

NEW DELHI: With the arrest of Sonu of Holambi Kalan, the Central Range of Crime Branch has busted a syndicate engaged in the supply of illicit liquor in various parts of the city and recovered 5,000 bottles.

With the arrest of Sonu of Holambi Kalan, the Central Range of Crime Branch has busted a syndicate engaged in the supply of illicit liquor in various parts of the city and recovered 5,000 bottles. A TATA Sumo vehicle has also been seized, which was used for transportation of liquor from Haryana to Delhi, said police.

On June 16, on a tip-off, a trap was laid near Holambi Kalan.

At about 3.30 pm, a Tata Sumo Grande vehicle which was coming from Sannoth Village and going towards Metro Vihar JJ Colony arrived. The vehicle was intercepted by the police team and the driver apprehended.
