New Delhi, March 25

After forming governments in Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Goa and Manipur, BJP national president Amit Shah asked party workers on Saturday to work hard to win the forthcoming Delhi civic elections.

Addressing a party workers rally called ‘Panch Parmeshwar’ at Ramlila Ground, Shah asked party activists to spread across the city to campaign for votes to defeat the Aam Aadmi Party. Civic elections in Delhi will be held on April 22.

“Since AAP has come to power in Delhi, corruption is rampant in the government. Ministers are involved in scandals; political career of 11 MLAs of AAP is uncertain and a minister was arrested in fake degree racket. Besides, development works in Delhi is stopped as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is always spoiling for a fight with the Centre. We want a government in Delhi that works in cooperation with the Centre,” Shah said.
