The Swaraj India today hit out at the AAP government on the issue of women safety claiming it has "failed" to keep its elections promises of ensuring women safety in the national Capital by deploying marshalls and equipping buses with CCTV cameras despite being in power for three years.

Swaraj Abhiyan Delhi president Anupam said all claims of the Kejriwal government of ensuring safety for women fall flat. It is a major setback of its three-year term, he maintained.

The Yogendra Yadav-led Swaraj Abhiyan stated before winning the elections the AAP dispensation had promised to create a women's security force, install CCTV cameras in public buses and to improve the last mile connectivity, among a list of steps to be taken for ensuring safety of women but all promises have gone for a toss.
