Job fair: Over 15K offers available

NEW DELHI:The Labour and Employment Minister, Gopal Rai, today inaugurated a two-day mega job fair at the Thyagraj Stadium here wherein around 100 companies are said to have turned up to fill 15,237 vacancies of various nature.

The Labour and Employment Minister, Gopal Rai, today inaugurated a two-day mega job fair at the Thyagraj Stadium here wherein around 100 companies are said to have turned up to fill 15,237 vacancies of various nature.

“This is not just a job summit; instead it is a trust summit which will enhance trust among people, companies and the government. The Delhi Government will organise more such job summits,” Rai said.

About 100 famous companies have approached the government and the government is expecting about 25,000 to 30,000 job seekers to avail themselves the opportunity.

The Labour and Employment Ministersaid the Delhi Ggovernment has done an experiment by organising such job fairs which offer hope to the unemployed youth.
