New Delhi, December 10

The Delhi Government has decided to put in place a single window system in the services department for framing and amending recruitment rules.

The move is aimed at easing the hiccups involved in the drafting and approval of changes pertaining to service and recruitment rules by the department concerned. This will result in faster processing of files relating to promotion, deputation, recruitment of staff and officials.

As per the notice by the services department, an officer of the department concerned, at least of the rank of deputy secretary, shall come in person with the proposal with prior appointment to deputy chief secretary concerned of services department for necessary action.

The proposal will have to go through a single window for examination and later sent back with changes (if any) marked for action.
