New Delhi, October 14
A three-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a teenager in Karawal Nagar, Northeast Delhi, said a police official today.
The 14-year-old accused has been apprehended.
The girl was playing outside her home. The accusedtook her to an isolated spot on the pretext of playing but sexually assaulted her.
In another incident, a 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl in Nand Nagri, Northeast Delhi.
The incident was reported a couple of days ago and the accused was nabbed from Meerut yesterday, another police official said.
The girl had gone to a grocery store to collect some money that the shopkeeper owed to her mother. The shopkeeper took the girl to an isolated spot and raped her, said the official. — TNS
