2 booked for poisoning youngster to death

TANDA URMAR: The Tanda police have registered a case of murder against two youngsters of Jahura village for allegedly killing a youth by reportedly giving him overdose of some intoxicant.

The Tanda police have registered a case of murder against two youngsters of Jahura village for allegedly killing a youth by reportedly giving him overdose of some intoxicant.

In a statement given to police in this regard, Ranjit Singh said the accused had come to their house on Tuesday night. The accused called Gurmangat and took him forcibly in his car. After this, they had no clue about his whereabouts. Later, Teeta made a phone call to them and told them that Gurmangat had been admitted to Tanda government hospital, where he was brought dead. Ranjit had alleged that Teeta and his companion had killed him by forcibly giving him some intoxicant. On the basis of the statement, the police have registered a case against Teeta and his accomplice. — OC
