Braid-cutting incident reported

A 23-year-old girl has claimed that someone has chopped off her hair when she was watching TV at her house in Palahi village. The victim, Jyoti, told the police that the incident took place around 8.15 pm on Thursday. Jyoti further told the police that she suddenly felt uneasy and did not move at the time of incident. She added that her younger sister came and found some hair cut and lying on the floor. Joti said then she realised that her hair was chopped. However, Jyoti said she did not know who cut her hair. SHO Sadar police station Lakhvir Singh said action would be taken after investigation.
