Jalandhar: The Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised a career counselling session for students to help them to choose the right career. Expert counsellor Rajeev Khanna was the keynote speaker. The session was organised for those students who, after the exams of Class XII, had joined the skill enhancement programme. During the session, there were nearly 250 students from various streams who took part in cooking, English speaking, web designing, music (instrumental), photography, painting and sculpturing. Principal Sucharita said in these days of tough competition, it had become mandatory to inform students about a right path to be chosen in life. TNS

Phagwara: A lecture on ‘Raise your voice’ and a presentation on stress management was organised for students of Class XII at Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women on Saturday, May 20, 2017. College Principal Dr Kiran Walia addressed students on ‘Raise your voice’ and motivated them to become empowered and responsible citizens. She talked about the need for girls to be confident and bold and stand up for what was right. Sandeep Walia gave a presentation on stress management. He talked about the various points that students need to keep in mind and talked about the importance of remaining stress free. Students of all streams of Class XII attended the event. OC
