City industrialists hail Jakhar’s victory

Jalandhar, October 15

Industrialists of the city today said Gurdaspur bypoll result was a sign that people were upset with the Central Government and it was their anger that had resulted in the victory of Congress.

Sunil Jakhar has won the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha bypoll by over 1.9 lakh votes.

Notably, after demonetisation and implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the industrialists have been protesting against the Central Government.

Members of Veopar Sena, Jalandhar, said now the Congress should realise its responsibility and must fulfil its promises. TNS
