Jalandhar, January 13
The Basti-Bawa Khel police today arrested a man selling illicit liquor. A fake press identity card was also recovered from his possession. The police recovered 20 cases of illicit liquor from him.
The accused was identified as Sunny Shooter and he was caught from the leather complex area. The police said that Sunny used to pose himself as a journalist of a leading vernacular and used to sell illicit liquor in his area.
The police have registered a case against him and have begun investigating the matter.
