DASUYA (HOSHIARPUR): Students of Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya, obtained 11 positions in the three-day Panjab University zonal academic competitions.

Dasuya (Hoshiarpur), Feb 15

Students of Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College of Education, Dasuya, obtained 11 positions in the three-day Panjab University zonal academic competitions. The event was held at Guru Nanak College of Education, Dallewal. Principal Dr Virinder Kaur informed that students from 17 colleges of Zone-A participated in the contest and student of GTB College of Education set a new record by winning 11 prizes.

Baljinder Singh got the first prize in model-making in science while in history competition, Neelamjit Kaur got the first prize. Sandeep Kaur in Punjabi stood second and Indu Bala clinched the first prize in fine arts competition. Harshpreet received a consolation prize in Maths.

In the skill-in-teaching competition for Punjabi language, Navjot Kaur grabbed the first position. Indu Bala stood first in Hindi language contest while Prabhjot Kaur stood first in history competition. Sarabjeet Kaur remained second in science and Pritamkal Kaur got the consolation prize in social studies competition. — OC
