JALANDHAR: An elderly man was injured at the Mohalla Karar Khan when the roof of his house collapsed.

Jalandhar, January 11

An elderly man was injured at the Mohalla Karar Khan when the roof of his house collapsed. While the alertness of his son in the house saved other family members, the elderly man - identified as Subhash Chander - sustained some injuries. Devinder Singh, son of Subhash Chander, noticed mud constantly falling from the roof and immediately shifted all family members in the open. Since Chander was sleeping, some of the rubble fell on him. However, after being informed the area police reached the spot and Chander was rescued.
